Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce members want the province to move full steam ahead with shale gas development and the Energy East pipeline. That, according to a survey which reveals those are the top two issues they want the Chamber to advocate.
96 per cent of Chamber members surveyed say natural resource development is important to the province.
It has also revealed 97 per cent of businesses are concerned with the province’s deficit and net debt.
The survey is forming part of a new 3 year strategic plan that will guide the Chamber through 2017. The final document will be released later this month.
