Changes Sought To Proposed Housing At St. Vincent’s High School

Common Council being asked to rezone the property where St. Vincent’s High School is situated on to allow for more apartments to be built.

The St. Vincent’s Apartments Board wants 4 additional apartments to be built, bringing the number to 36. 18 of those would be low cost housing to be administered by NB Housing.

A daycare at the rear of the building is also be proposed that would accomodate up to 30 children.

Both City Staff and the Planning Advisory Committee are recommending approval, saying it will make the neighnbourhood more vibrant.
