Five charges have been laid against two Saint John men in connection with a serious assault that took place on Sunday.
29-year-old Jeremy Robichaud and 33-year-old Andrew Brown made brief court appearances on Wednesday afternoon.
Both are facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, two counts of assault, and uttering threats.
They will remain in custody, pending another court appearance March 10th.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, was treated in hospital for serious injuries after the west side assault.
The incident is still under investigation by the Major Crime Unit.
