Charlotte County Exploring Career Week With Students

This is Career Week across the nation, and Charlotte County schools are exploring the topic.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd, is the St. Stephen Education Center’s Post-Secondary Expo, with over 60 exhibits highlighting programs and institutions.
It is being held at the St. Stephen High School, with the evening session running from 5:30 – 7pm tomorrow evening.
The Expo gives Grade 11 & 12 students, and their parents, the opportunity to get first-hand information on training and programs offered in Eastern Canada, as well as the State of Maine.
Wednesday is Take Our Kids to Work Day, where grade 9 students are invited to spend the day at their parents workplace to give them a real life experience in a work environment.
The St. Stephen Education Centre is taking part in the initiative along with over two thousand other communities across Canada.
