He had so much left to give us. It’s a sad time in Charlotte County as residents mourn the death of a rising country star. Eloie Richard passed away Monday morning at the age of only 44 only a few days after undergoing surgery to remove a cancerous tumour.
The husband, and father of two, recently debuted on the country charts with his song “Middle Of The Night”, and had upcoming performances this summer at the Area 506 Festival in Saint John and the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI. Richard was also a previous winner of our Country star competition.
A funeral service will be held Friday Morning at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church starting at 11:00.
Visiting hours will be held at the Mehan & Son Funeral Home on Main Street in St. Stephen tomorrow from 2 to 4 in the afternoon and from 7 to 9 tomorrow night.
