It’s the week lots of people venture uptown to try out the new creations for Chop Chop.
29 restaurants are taking part and many offer new dishes specifically created for the event.
Geoff Gillingham of the York Bistro in the Hilton says Chop Chop creates a lot of traffic for the uptown restaurants.
He finds the regular lunch crowd from the business community enjoy trying new things and it allows the chefs a chance to experiment with the food.
