A 44 year old Saint John man will remain in jail following a daytime assault on March 1st in the KV.

The assault was taking place in a wooded area near KV Rentals when it was interuppted by some employees at the business.
A woman was taken to hospital and treated for an injury to her face.
Christopher Belyea is facing a charge of assault causing bodily harm and a new charge of break and enter relating to an incident on February 28th.
The details of the testimony during the bail hearing are under a broadcast ban.
Belyea is due back in court on April 3rd for election and plea.
