A west Saint John resident is looking to fill one of two council seats in Ward 1.
Christopher Withers, who works as an electrician, has put his name forward for the May 10 municipal election.
As a born-and-raised west sider, Withers said he knows what needs to be done to see it grow again.
Some of his priorities include repairing green spaces, fixing up the roads and infrastructure, and encouraging new development.
Withers said he is committed to bringing life back into the city and making it a place people want to live and work in.
