Get ready for the rain and the potential of flooded roads in low-lying areas around Saint John.
That is the message from the city as post-tropical cyclone Erin moves through the Maritimes on Thursday.
Crews have now concluded their inspections of priority catch basins and are ready to deal with any flooded roads or neighbourhoods should that occur.
Environment Canada is calling for up to 70 millimetres of rain by midnight and wind gusts up to 40 kilometres per hour.

If barricades need to go up in some areas, the city is telling drivers to be mindful of them or you will get a ticket.
You should also watch out for hydroplaning and slow down in heavy rain.
Meanwhile, the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization is urging people to have a 72-hour preparedness kit ready and to stay informed about the latest forecasts.
