MP Rodney Weston announcing the federal government will contribute just over $2 million dollars to invest in the City Market.
Renovations will include a new roof, new escalators and elevators as well as the improvment of windows, doors, insulation, heating and lighting.
Saint John City Market is the oldest continuous farmer’s market in Canada.
The funding is being provided by the Innovative Communities Fund.
