City Police have made two arrests after one of their officers was punched in the chest early this morning outside a nightclub on Sydney Street.
A 53 year old man has been charged with assault and a 25 year old man for obstruction. He’s accused of trying to interfere with the arrest.
The officer who was assaulted did not suffer any serious injuries.
