A Saint John-based company that specializes in promoting and branding cannabis culture for this day and age is expanding with a major financial shot in the arm.
CEO and Publisher Derek Reidle tells our newsroom they have secured a $5 million deal with Canopy Rivers Corporation which will see the companies work together on various online media and event projects.
“It will really allow us to grow the brand and put the brand in front of a whole lot more eyeballs, just at the right time that cannabis is becoming something that people are really talking about,” says Reidle.
He also says it will help his company in a number of ways as it gets set to host the World Cannabis Conference in Saint John in June.
In fact, he says they are hiring 20 positions for their offices in Sant John, Toronto and Los Angeles.
