Codiac RCMP are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a pharmacy.
Staff Sergeant Mark Janes says shortly after 3:30 Saturday afternoon, they were called to the Jean Coutu at 1789 Mountain Road.
“There was a lone male wearing a black ball cap, a fake beard, a wig, reading glasses, entered the pharmacy and demanded drugs,” says Janes. “The pharmacist gave him a bunch of different medications.”
Janes says a pharmacist followed the man out of the building noting his direction of travel.
An RCMP police dog unit followed the trail but lost it at one of the side roads behind the pharmacy.
They are planning to release surveillance photos later today.
