Common Council Advised To Replace All The Lights On Saint John Sign

Common Council will have to decide whether to spend 42 thousand dollars to replace the fluorescent lighting on the Saint John sign which looks out from Fort Howe with L-E-D lighting.

Councillors have been told L-E-D lighting will last up to 90 thousand hours as opposed to 15 thousand hours with fluorescent lights.

It’s also estimated the annual cost to the city would go down from 9 thousand dollars to a thousand.
