Common Council Candidate Loses Position On Transit Commission

Councillor at Large candidate John Campbell is no longer a member of the Transit Commission which came as a surprise to him.

Campbell says it also means he no longer is a member of a sub committee on transit put together by Saint John-Rothesay M-P Wayne Long. He argues the next three years is crucial for Saint John Transit with the federal government putting together its infrastructure program.

Campbell describes transit in Saint John as being in terrible shape and advocates a five year plan be put together for Common Council

He attributes not being reappointed to the Transit and Parking Commission, which is now one, to politics or personal animosity.
