Common Council holding a special meeting this afternoon to have another look at yet another revised city budget for next year.
It’s believed this one will pass with the tax rate rate remaining at $1.79.
The revamped budget does not reduce the amount of funding for economic development next year which was a sticking point last Monday.
Waterfront development will get a bit less money next year but it will still be more than was proposed.
There will be no big reductions in funding for the fire and police departments.
