This idea is part of an ambitious plan from a Saint John-based real estate company that would see stores, services and housing in that area of East Saint John.
Horizon Management Limited plans to turn 180 acres of vacant land into an upscale highway development in the area of the Ashburn Lake Road and Highway 1.
Owner Troy Northrup says it would be a one of a kind, international quality development that encourages visitors and travellers to stop in greater Saint John.
Detailed plans for the project will be revealed when Horizon Management is scheduled to appear before the City’s Planning Advisory Committee in March.
Northrup says the final cost of the project has not been determined and the final configuration will depend on a number of factors including interest expressed by those attracted to the project.
