The outgoing M-P for Saint John-Rothesay, Rodney Weston was responsible for 600 million dollars in government funding for the riding. That word from the Conservative M-L-A for Portland-Simonds, Trevor Holder who’s sad to see Weston go.
Holder says he and Weston were joined at the hip. Weston and Holder served as provincial M-L-A’s and Weston was then Premier Bernard Lord’s chief of staff.
Having said that, Holder points out he has been able to work with members of other political parties for the common good.
