The precarious future of the Energy East pipeline has prompted a visit to Saint John of two Conservative M-Ps.
Shannon Stubbs who’s the Shadow Minister for Natural Resources is greatly concerned over Trans Canada’s decision to suspend its application. She blames the federal Liberals for changing the rules over the past two years of what’s acceptable.
Citing poll numbers, Stubbs maintains the majority of Quebecers want Energy East to be built. She calls the opposition voiced in Quebec as “politicking”.
