A committee is putting forward a new, more modern vision and image for the provincial contact centre industry.
The newly renamed business services industry is designed to provide stable, well paid employment for residents of the province.
This vision covers four strategic pillars, including education and awareness, and human resource development.
Opportunities NB CEO Stephen Lund says they are aiming to grow the number of full time jobs and increase the average salary.
This industry currently employees 18,000 people in 90 call centres province wide.
