Convicted Murderer To Spend Life In Prison, Eligible For Parole After 16 Years

Tyler Noel will have no chance of parole for 16 years after being sentenced in Moncton court today.

Noel pleaded guilty to second degree murder and arson with disregard for human life.

He is sentenced to life in prison, but will be eligible for parole after 16 years.

At the same time, Noel will serve three years for the arson charge.

In addition, he must not contact the Wylie family and he is banned from owning or using a firearm.

The Wylie family did not speak today, saying they needed a few days to digest the decision.
