Coroner’s inquest to determine cause of N.B. man’s death

The Office of the Chief Coroner has announced an inquest into the death of a New Brunswick man.

Daniel Moore died in July 2021 after falling off a roof while at work, according to the Department of Justice and Public Safety.

Presiding coroner Sarah Barnett and a jury will hear evidence from witnesses to determine the cause of Moore’s death.

The jury will have the opportunity to make recommendations aimed at preventing deaths under similar circumstances.

The inquest will be held on December 6 and 7 in Fredericton.
