The news of Mixed Martial Arts Fighter Ryan Jimmo’s death over the weekend leaving many in shock.
The 34 year old, who is orginally from Saint John ,was killed in a hit and run in Edmonton and his death is being investigated as a homicide.
Retired teacher Ivan Court remembers Ryan as a student at St. Mac’s and he knows the whole Jimmo family.
He describes him as happy go lucky and well liked by all the students.
Court has been friends with Ryan Jimmo’s dad for over 60 years adding he and his wife just ran into the Jimmo’s last week and Ryan’s dad was talking excitedly about how he was booking events here for regional fighters.
