Two schools in the Anglophone South School District will be closed on Friday due to COVID-19 cases.
Parents of Kennebecasis Valley High School and Hampton Middle School students were made aware late Thursday.
They are the first Anglophone South schools to report COVID-19 cases so far this school year.
Several other schools in the province will also be closed Friday due to confirmed cases.
That includes five schools in the Anglophone West School District: Leo Hayes High School and Devon Middle School in Fredericton; Keswick Valley Memorial School in Burtts Corner; Townsview School in Woodstock; and John Caldwell School in Grand Falls.
Please be advised there will be no classes for students at HMS and KVHS, tomorrow, Friday, September 24.
