One City police officer and another person are being checked out in hospital following a collision in the North end.
It occurred late this afternoon at the intersection of Ropewalk road and Millidge Avenue.
The airbags in the police cruiser did deploy in the collision.
Traffic was blocked for a period at the scene and it has since been re-opened to traffic.
