Crews Quickly Knock Down Rothesay Fire

An overnight fire caused minor damage to the exterior of a Rothesay home.

Kennebecasis Valley fire crews were called to Woodland Avenue around 3 a.m. Thursday.

Division Chief Shawn White said both families living in the home were out by the time they arrived.

White said the flames melted some siding on the home but caused no damage inside.

Both families were allowed to go back inside about an hour later, he said.
