An inmate serving time for rape has died at the Dorchester Penitentiary.
Garrett Young died while in custody on August 3rd of apparent natural causes.
He was serving a life sentence since July 15, 1994, for sexual assault causing bodily harm, kidnap – unlawfully confine, assault, assault with a weapon, robbery with violence, and forcible confinement.
