Drivers taking Highway 1 westbound through Saint John will have to use a detour for the next few days.
The westbound lanes will be closed from Exit 119 at Catherwood Street to Exit 114 at Route 7 starting Friday.
Gateway Operations says crews will be working to repair a culvert under the highway.
Detour signage will be in place during the work, which is expected to last up to four days.
