Diesel, Heating Oil Prices Down Nearly 9 Cents

An unexpected drop in diesel and heating oil prices overnight in New Brunswick.

Prices for both fuels fell when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause.

The new maximum price for diesel is $2.43 per litre, a drop of nearly nine cents.

Heating oil is down by around the same amount to a maximum of $2.22 per litre.

Gasoline and propane prices remain unchanged as of Friday morning.

The maximum price for regular self-serve is $1.76 per litre, while the most you will pay for propane is $1.17 per litre.
