Another unplanned increase in diesel prices overnight across New Brunswick.
The maximum price shot up by more than eight cents after the Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause.
The most you will now pay for diesel across the province is just over $2.30 per litre, but most local stations are selling it for a few cents less.
Diesel prices have changed five times in the last two weeks, going up four times and down once. The interrupter clause was used in three of those instances.
The price of diesel now costs 36 cents per litre more than it did on April 14.
Gasoline, heating oil and propane prices remained unchanged overnight.
The maximum price for regular self-serve is currently set at more than $1.82 per litre.
