Dietician Who Leads Support Group Says They Want Everyone To Be Supportive Of Breastfeeding

A dietician who leads a breastfeeding support group in Charlotte County says it all began 17 years ago because they were seeing that mothers were not getting the help that they needed.

Lori MacKenzie, speaking about a new campaign launched by Public Health called Breastfeeding Anywhere, says they wanted to normalize breastfeeding. She says they want to have everyone in our communities accepting of breastfeeding and to be aware of the benefits and that this is a right for mom and babies.

MacKenzie says they will be seeing the lifesize cutouts of women breastfeeding in Charlotte County.
