The deadline to apply for disaster financial assistance related to this spring’s flooding in fast approaching.
Homeowners, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations only have until Aug. 30 to apply.
The province says it has received 679 damage reports to date and 340 applications for assistance.
You must register your damages with the province before being eligible to apply for disaster financial assistance.

Anyone who needs help with the application process can drop by the New Brunswick EMO Recovery Office at 65 Brunswick St. in Fredericton or the Burton courthouse at 23 Route 102.
