The Department of Natural Resources is warning drivers to use caution when driving between Norton and Sussex as they work to save a family of geese in the median of the highway near kilometre 182.
Traffic will be slow and stopped periodically.
DNR is on site and RCMP will be controlling traffic.
One female, one male, and five baby geese are said to be stuck in the median.
