A strange set of circumstances over the weekend led Kennebecasis Regional Police to arrest a 22-year-old man after an accident near the Dolan Road Irving.
A man was seen going into the nearby woods with a dog after the accident on Saturday but came back alone.
When they were investigating the accident, police discovered a handgun and a quantity of drugs, then later, the dog was found wandering around the Fox Farm Road suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say at last report, the dog was doing well after medical treatment.
