Dominic Cardy says he’s humbled to be staying on as the leader of the provincial NDP – he offered to resign after losing in the provincial and in the Saint John East by-election, but the NDP provincial executive and council rejected his resignation.
Cardy tells us he’s thinking outside the box – and outside the province.
He says they can look around and figure out how to adapt some of those lessons to New Brunswick context and speak with people on what they would like to see their government implement.
Cardy says he’s got a great team and is looking forward to the hard work ahead.
