A large donation for Habitat for Humanity in the Saint John region will allow another family to find a forever home.
EXIT Realty has donated $100,000 to the organization, the largest single contribution in their history.
CEO Kevin Perry says this contribution allows them to build a third home.
“We had two homes on the horizon when we started this year. This amazing donation from Exit Realty is making a home a reality for a third family.” Perry said.
Work has already begun on a property at 2 Leeswood Drive in Quispamsis, N.B.
“We’re under construction already. We’ve got the foundation in already and we are just super excited about this opportunity.:
He says the first step in applying to become a homeowner through Habitat for Humanity is an online form.
“We start out with a simple form that takes about three minutes to fill out online. We look for a little bit of information on the family [including] kids, where they want to live, how much they make and a little bit of their story.” Perry said.
Perry says the house should be finished by the first or second week of December.
