A 32-year-old man being arrested by City Police after a traffic stop on King Street East for possession for the purpose of trafficking a narcotic.
Sergeant Lori Magee says the passenger, a 30-year-old man, was also arrested on a weapons offense as police found a firearm. Officers seizing ammunition, drugs, and cash from the vehicle.
As well, police getting called out to a home on the Old Black River Road to check on the well-being of the children living there. A 37-year-old woman being arrested on a Canada Wide Warrant for fraud offenses out of Calgary.
The woman being held in custody until Calgary police arrived to bring her back to Calgary.
