A Dry Cleaner Testifies At Oland Trial

A dry cleaner, through a Korean interpreter, testifying at the second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland in Saint John.

Jin Hee Choi identified a number of exhibits including dry cleaning and laundry tags, customer information and receipts.

The Crown’s Jill Knee asked if Choi recalled a number of items being dropped off July 8, 2011.

She said yes but, she couldn’t recall who did it but remembered they asked for next day service.

Choi said it included a brown sports coat.

When cross-examined by Allan Gold, Choi was asked if police talked to her about any blood-covered items they may have been given.

She replied there were no blood-covered items.

Choi remembered the items were dropped off by Lisa Oland and picked up the next day.
