A Nerepis home was destroyed following an early morning blaze.
Grand Bay-Westfield Fire Chief Troy Gautreau said about 20 firefighters responded to a house fire on the Point Road about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.
“It was a home and a detached garage. Both were fully involved and collapsing in on themselves,” Gautreau said.
Gautreau said the cause is being investigated.
He also said they don’t think anyone was living in the home.
