A wild ride turning into two charges for a 19-year-old man from East Brighton, which is just outside of Woodstock.
On January 27, officers with the RCMP saw a green Jeep speeding on Main Street in Hartland. The driver didn’t stop for police and instead crashed into the steps of a building, then went to another street where he crashed into a telephone pole.
Nobody was hurt, though all three people in the vehicle were arrested. Two of them were later released.
Ryan O’Donnell has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by police and dangerous driving. He’s been released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court again on February 16.
