Elderly Man Dies After Going Missing In Rothesay

Kennebecasis regional police say an elderly man who went missing in Rothesay over the weekend has died.

Police said the 81-year-old man left his home late Saturday afternoon and did not return.

Officers were called on Saturday evening and launched a search, with help from fire officials and Ground Search and Rescue.

The man was found outside around 4 a.m. Sunday and taken to the hospital, where he later passed away.

Police said they do not believe foul play was involved.
