Chief returning officer Mike Quinn says the returning offices are now open in preparation for the September 22nd vote.
Quinn telling us a fair number of candidates have filed their nomination papers.
Elections NB has been receiving inquiries from many people who have also been going to the website to find the electoral district they are now in.
The number of ridings has been reduced from 55 to 49 since the 2010 vote.
