Emergency Preparedness Week In Canada

It is Emergency Preparedness Week across the country and this year’s theme is “Be Ready for Anything.”

Some disasters may be beyond our control, but there are ways to reduce the risk and the impact.

Public Safety Canada says it is a good idea to know the risks specific to your community and region to help you better prepare.

You should also make a plan so you and your family know what to do in an emergency.

Finally, you should have an emergency kit and be prepared to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours.

You can find more details online.
