The hearings on the proposed Energy East pipeline will be starting all over again from the very beginning.
All decisions made by the previous panel on the pipeline are null and void.
Those people who have already applied to participate don’t have to do so again.
Prime Minister Trudeau, at his town hall meeting in Winnipeg, was confronted by pipeline protestors who interrupted him, much to his annoyance.
The Hearing Panel for Energy East will decide on how to move forward. If the panel determines the applications for the project are complete, the 21 month timeline will start from square one.
