An energy summit in Saint John has been told the sky’s not falling in New Brunswick contrary to what you may have heard or read.
So says Provincial Energy Minister Rick Doucet, pointing to the Atlantic Link as one expample. It consists of an undersea cable that can deliver electricity to a potential market in New England of 15 million consumers.
Doucet also says the port of Saint John could cash in with tidal power, calling it a tsunami of opportunity.
