If your favourite winter pastime is shovelling then we’ve got some great news for you.
Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote says there’s another storm system on the way which has the potential to bring another 15 centimetres of snow this weekend to Greater Saint John.
He says we may see some scattered flurries during much of the day on Friday, and that will change to periods of snow and brisk Northeast winds overnight persisting throughout much of Saturday with a clearing trend in the evening.
As of late Tuesday morning Saint John received between 35 and 47 centimetres of snow with maximum wind gusts recorded at 85 kilometres per hour at the airport. Moncton received the strongest wind gusts in the province at 117 kilometres per hour.
