Join Big Brothers Big Sisters for an OUTDOOR BOCCE BALL EVENT in Chown Field on Wednesday, June 17 (rain date June 18) for 90 minutes of bocce ball, free BBQ, music, prizes, and lots of fun!
This is your chance to help BBBS continue to offer, and build upon, existing mentoring programs and create new ways of connecting more youth in developmental relationships with mentors. It’s also a great morale booster for your team and your opportunity for your company, family, or group to participate in a fun team-building activity for a good cause.
Shifts are available from 2pm to 330pm; 330pm to 5pm; and 5pm to 630pm. Only 90-minutes of your time is required. Get your group of 4 together and join the fun as part of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature Bowl/Bocce for Kids’ Sake fundraising campaign that takes place annually and has been around for more than 45 years!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
1. REGISTER your team of 4 and select your bocce ball time by completing th registration form and paying the $125/team of 4 registration fee.
2. MEET us in Chown Field for your scheduled bocce ball time, enjoy the fun, the music, prizes, and a BBQ.
All of the funds raised directly support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring programs in your community! BBBS connects over 300 youth annually with carefully selected mentors and nurtures these friendships to ensure youth build social-emotional skills, improve mental health and well-being, and increase educational and community engagement! We’re rolling to support mentoring for young people in our service area which includes Saint John, Kings, and Charlotte Counties!
