His breakout role in “Curb Your Enthusiasm” as Leon Black has firmly planted him as one of the best comedic actors today. \nSmoove joined HBO’s Emmy winning “Curb Your Enthusiasm” in its sixth season and has remained an integral part of the show since that time. During his run\, Smoove has received a SAG nomination as a part of the series ensemble cast in 2018 as well as a NAACP Image Award nomination in 2012. “…the fast-talking New Yorker with high-end fashion sense to match his loquaciousness\, has reached new heights thanks to his role as Leon Black… where he’s formed a celebrated and often-quoted comedic duo with [Larry] David\,” noted The Washington Post. The show recently completed its eleventh season. \nHis extensive work in television also includes “The Last O.G.” alongside Tiffany Haddish and Tracy Morgan\, the hilarious satire “Real Husbands of Hollywood” on BET+\, as well “Mapleworth Murders\,” which earned him an Emmy Award. Smoove subsequently followed this up with a co-starring role opposite Adam Sandler in MR. DEEDS in 2002. \nAfter a season as a cast member on the sketch comedy program “Cedric the Entertainer Presents” in 2003\, Smoove moved back to New York City where he landed a coveted writing position on NBC’s iconic sketch comedy series “Saturday Night Live.” During his fourth year on the show\, Smoove received a 2007 Writers Guild award for “Best Comedy/Variety Series” for his work. \nAn accomplished stand-up comedian\, Smoove has hosted NBC’s “Last Comic Standing\,” the Comedy Central stand-up series “Russell Simmons Presents: The Ruckus” and shot his own one-hour stand-up special “How I Dooz It” for the cable channel. SUMMARY:Birding South Musquash Marsh
DESCRIPTION:The South Musquash Marsh is a small portion of the NBCC Musquash Estuary Marine Protected Area. The area we will be visiting has been part of the Maritime Marsh Monitoring program for several years and is checked each year for American bittern\, Least Bittern\, Pied-billed Grebe\, Sora\, Virginia rail\, American Coot\, Common Gallinule\, Nelson’s Sparrow\, Marsh Wren\, Black Tern and Willet. \nThe plan is to bird the woodland trail to the marsh but not stopping over long just practicing our listening skills in preparation for our time on the marsh. \nTo maximize the experience on this trip there will be no electronic callings or phishing. The quieter the group can be while we are on the marsh\, the more likely we are to hear and see some of the above marsh birds but also the other numerous birds that inhabit any marsh. \nTerrain: The walking surface is flat\, however; it can be muddy in spots and may have some sinkholes once we are out on the marsh berm. \nSuitable for: All ages\, young children may require extra supervision.
