DESCRIPTION:The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s returns to Saint John on Sunday\, May 31\, 2026\, bringing the community together in support of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. \nParticipants are encouraged to Walk Your Way throughout the month of May\, fundraising at their own pace\, and then gather for the main Walk event on May 31. Funds raised through the Walk help provide access to essential programs and services such as counselling\, respite care\, support groups\, and community education programs across New Brunswick. \nTo date\, the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s has raised more than $50 million nationwide\, supporting individuals living with dementia and those who care for them. With over 750\,000 Canadians currently living with dementia—a number expected to reach one million by 2030—community participation remains more important than ever. \nThe Saint John Walk will feature a welcoming atmosphere with opportunities to connect with others\, along with activities\, prizes\, and special surprises on Walk Day. \nRegistration Information\nRegistration is now open. \n🔗 Register or learn more \nParticipants can choose to walk individually\, with family and friends\, or as part of a team. DESCRIPTION:The second annual Walk for Mental Health will take place on Saturday\, June 6\, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rothesay Netherwood School in support of Just Us\, a New Brunswick-based charity providing free and low-cost counselling to those in need. \nWhether you’re walking for a friend\, a loved one or your own mental well-being\, your participation helps ensure no one has to face their mental health journey alone. \nThe Route: \nThe walk is a scenic 5 km loop that takes you from Rothesay Netherwood School (40 College Hill Road\, Rothesay) to East Riverside Kinghurst Park and back. Expect about 45 minutes of easy walking\, fresh air and community connection. The event is rain or shine\, so come prepared for the weather as well as the good vibes. \nRegistration Details: \nTo take part in the walk\, a $50 donation per person over the age of 12 is required. Children 12 and under are free. \nPlease register for the event via the form below. Those who register before May 8 will receive a free t-shirt.
