SUMMARY:Ballet Jörgen: Midsummer Night’s Dream
DESCRIPTION:A Fun\, Appealing Story for all ages \nWilliam Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of his most beloved comedies. Four Athenians find themselves in a forest inhabited by fairies who manipulate the humans and are engaged in their own domestic intrigue. It is a lighthearted\, humourous and fun tale of love and\, often misguided\, magic set in motion by the mischievous trickster Puck. The ballet adaptation is set to Mendelssohn’s 1827 concert overture and 1843 instrumental score which includes the famous “Wedding March.” Ballet: A Canadian Way \nBengt Jörgen will bring this story to life in his own original ballet version as a tribute to Canada’s North. Ballet Jörgen’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream will bring out the magic of Northern Canada’s woodland and tundra landscapes and creatures of the forest such as moose\, beavers\, bears\, and squirrels. In addition to our professional dancers\, each performance will include up to 10 age-appropriate roles for local young aspiring dancers\, ages 9 to 17\, through Ballet Jörgen’s Local Participant Program. \nBuilt for our Audience and Communities \nThis family-friendly short ballet will captivate audiences of all ages and will warm the hearts of young and old alike. \nCHOREOGRAPHER Bengt Jörgen C.M.\nMUSIC Felix Mendelssohn\nSET & COSTUME DESIGN Sue LePage\nLIGHTING DESIGN Madhu Seran\nSTAGE DIRECTION & DRAMA COACH Heinar Piller \n1 hour & 40 minutes w 1 intermission

SUMMARY:BMO Studio Theatre : All My Sons
DESCRIPTION:Bryan Cranston and Marianne Jean-Baptiste lead a searing\, live West End staging of Arthur Miller’s classic—where the American dream meets its dark consequences. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths) feature in a five-star\, triumphantly acclaimed new production of Arthur Miller’s classic play\, from visionary director Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge). \nOne family\, the heart of the American dream. When wartime delivers profits for Joe\, it comes at a price when his partner is charged with criminal manufacturing deals\, and his eldest son goes missing in action. Will peacetime bring peace of mind\, or will he be confronted by the consequence of his actions? \nFilmed live from the West End\, Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You)\, Tom Glynn-Carney (House of the Dragon)\, and Hayley Squires (I\, Daniel Blake) also feature in this disturbingly prescient play. \n\n\n\nTICKETS: $25 Regular | $20 Subscriber\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPERFORMANCE TIMES: 7:30 PM\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nThe Saint John Theatre Company is thrilled to partner with National Theatre Live\, bringing world-class productions from London’s National Theatre to be viewed on the big screen right here at the BMO Studio Theatre.
